Lincoln’s Christmas Station B107.3 teamed up with local sponsors Edward Jones and Autosounds to benefit City Impact’s Gifts of Love program!
Gifts of Love is a holiday program allowing families in need to shop for discounted gifts for their family with their own money. The program is designed to help those in need who are looking for a hand up (rather than a hand out) and the shoppers are pre-approved.
To kick off the grand opening of the program, morning show hosts Gina & Joe surprised nearly 40 shoppers with a special goodie bag full of festive treats and $100 cash! B107.3 encouraged listeners to donate Christmas presents to the Gifts of Love Store, or volunteer to become a personal shopper. Altogether, 564 families were served and 628 volunteers helped prepare and run the store. Click below to watch the video to learn more about B107.3’s special surprise.
