While a career in radio certainly isn’t all fun and games, there are plenty of opportunities to add a little excitement to the workday. In Omaha, General Manager, Mark Shecterle threw a long pass from his office window to 1620 The Zone morning show co-host, Damon Benning who is a former UNL Husker running back and MVP in the 1996 Orange Bowl.
The rest of the story is that Mark didn’t throw a football, but a water balloon and Damon made the catch one-handed.
