Froggy 98 raised a record $93,361 during its 17th annual St. Jude Country Cares Radiothon earlier in February benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

During the two-day event, students from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln’s Tri Delta sorority answered hundreds of calls coming in from listeners wishing to make donations.

Eleven-year-old Kate, now in remission from her diagnosis of brain cancer, not only came to the station to work the phone bank for an entire day; she became a Partner in Hope. While Kate was at the station, her school called to let her know the teachers and students in the school collected $300 to donate in Kate’s name.
